 Drumming & Singing Workshops

Scott Jasper has been drumming for over twenty years and leads
exciting and empowering African drumming and singing workshops across the UK.

Drumming is an emotive, uplifting and invigorating experience which has the power to create positive and inspirational change in our lives.  West African Drumming in particular eases anxiety, banishes worry and disintegrates tension; its vibrant, uplifting rhythms having the power to immediately disperse the stresses and strains of everyday life.

These fully participative ’hands on’ workshops bring individuals together to celebrate the many rhythms of life, teaching not only the basics of African Djembe playing but also authentic West African rhythms and songs alongside their cultural significance.

You do not need any prior musical experience to be able to participate fully in the friendly, enjoyable and positive tribal atmosphere that these inspirational, accessible and energising musical workshops create.  West African drumming is accessible to all and Scott’s gentle guidance, passionate, humorous approach and authentic, buoyant enthusiasm will quickly put you at your ease, guiding you into the heart of rhythm.

So come join the circle of drums and be inspired!
