SCOTT JASPER
Scott
is an innovative,
naturally talented and versatile professional musician,

mystery of the wild land, working both as a solo artist and as part of the duo
'Dragonfly Moon' with partner Susan Garlick. While specialising in drums
and percussion (including
kit drums, djembe, frame drum, darabuka, bodhran & cajon), Scott also plays guitar,
banjo, piano, didgeridoo, high and
low whistles and North American style wooden
flutes and

various musical
qualifications.
Scott is also a professional and highly experienced workshop facilitator, well-known
and loved for his genuine enthusiasm.
As such, he offers informative lectures and leads a variety of inspirational drumming
and singing workshops around the UK which, centred on the use of African
drums and percussion, bring
people together
not only to learn to play but also to celebrate the magic of life, explore the
healing possibilities of music and to share laughter through
the emotive power of the drum.
As a versatile vocalist and
instrumentalist, Scott has performed with many bands crossing the genres of
rock, soul, blues, dance and folk and has collaborated with a number of artists such as Medwyn
Goodall, Nigel Shaw and Carolyn Hillyer. He has released two solo albums to date,
three albums as the duo 'Dragonfly Moon' and has recently produced Susan's debut solo album.
Scott is currently
working on a new musical project with Susan.

Scott is
available to give group talks and workshops,
including drumming/musical workshops and demonstrations in schools
as well as musical performances
either solo ('Clearwater' project)
or with Susan as 'Dragonfly Moon'
and occasional work as a session musician.

OUR ETHICAL MUSICAL INSTRUMENT POLICY:
ALL our instruments are
fairly traded wherever possible, as we endeavour to supply quality, ethical
products at fair prices,
supporting not only world-wide fair trade but also British instrument-makers.
Not only do we consider fair-trade to be an important issue, but we also do
our best to ensure that instrument materials are sustainably sourced -
hence we aim to avoid the use of non-sustainable hardwoods and, of course, all
natural animal-derived materials are strictly bi-products.
Our ethics are important to us, as fair trade should mean fair to the
environment as well as to our producers AND customers.
If you have any questions regarding our ethical policies please do not hesitate
to Contact Us.
